Why Truluck’s made the SteakMap list
Truluck’s owns its own crab fisheries. That is the fact that separates it from every other seafood-and-steak room on this list — the Florida stone crab on the table went from trap to table in 24 hours, because the company caught it.
Stone crab is a genuinely remarkable fishery: the claw is taken and the animal is returned alive to regrow it. The season runs October through May, and if you are in Naples inside that window it is the single most local thing you can order.
The steak side
The beef is USDA Prime, and the menu is rewritten weekly around what the boats and the market actually deliver. A weekly menu is a real operational commitment and it is the reason the seafood side stays sharp.
The wine list has won awards, and happy hour runs 4–6pm Monday through Saturday and all night Sunday, with 25 percent off cocktails, spirits, wines by the glass and oysters.
Old Naples
The restaurant is at 698 4th Avenue South, a block off Fifth Avenue South in Old Naples — the walkable restaurant and gallery district rather than a highway address. It has been part of that stretch since the company’s early years; Truluck’s has been operating since 1992.
Prices
Because the menu changes weekly, Truluck’s does not publish fixed pricing online, and SteakMap has no verified figures to quote. Stone crab in particular is priced to the market and to the season.
