Profile
What Niveen’s is
Niveen’s is an upscale steakhouse on West Warren Avenue in Dearborn Heights, built around hand-cut steaks from selected USDA Prime and Choice cuts.
Hand-cut is the detail that matters. It means the kitchen portions its own beef rather than buying it pre-cut and vacuum-packed, which gives control over thickness, trim and consistency — and it is uncommon at an independent this size.
The setting
The room pairs fine dining with a hookah lounge, which places it squarely in the culture of this part of metro Detroit. Dearborn and Dearborn Heights are home to one of the largest Arab American communities in the country, and a steakhouse where the evening can run long over shisha is a genuinely different proposition from a downtown chophouse that turns tables.
The house line is “love the taste, taste the love,” which tells you what kind of room they are trying to run.
Prices
Niveen’s does not publish a machine-readable priced menu, so SteakMap has no verified cuts, weights or prices to quote. Aging is not published either, and we make no claim about it. Reservations are taken through the restaurant’s own site.
Metro Detroit has real depth in this category, including steakhouses serving halal beef — read the guide to the best steakhouses in Michigan.
