What Ocean Prime is
Ocean Prime is the upscale seafood-and-steak concept from Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, and the split billing is honest — the raw bar and the beef get equal weight. Everything is made from scratch in house, and the menu runs to hand-rolled sushi alongside the Prime steaks.
What to order
The two dishes the group is known for are the jumbo lump crab cake and the white truffle caviar deviled eggs — the second of which is the kind of thing that sounds like a gimmick and is not.
The other signature is a drink. Berries and Bubbles arrives at the table wreathed in dry-ice smoke, and it has become the restaurant’s calling card. If you are at a table with people who have never been, it will happen whether you order it or not.
The wine list is Wine Spectator honored.
The Denver room
This location is at 1465 Larimer Street, on Larimer Square — the oldest block in Denver and the city’s most-walked dining street. That address does real work: it is a pre-theater and pre-game room as much as a business one, a short walk from both the Denver Center and Coors Field.
Prices
Ocean Prime does not publish per-location pricing online, so SteakMap has no verified Denver figures to quote. Grade and aging detail are not published either, beyond the Prime designation, and we make no claim about aging.
