What D’Nulffos is
D’Nulffos Seafood & Chophouse sits on East Grand River Avenue in East Lansing, on the strip that runs along the north edge of the Michigan State campus. That address does a lot of work — this is the room for a graduation dinner, a parents’ weekend, or a table that needs to impress someone visiting the university.
It is open Wednesday through Saturday, 5pm to 10pm, which is a short, deliberate week. Kitchens that close four days rather than run thin all week are usually protecting the four they do serve.
The beef
The restaurant describes its program as prime-grade cuts handled with classic steakhouse tradition and modern technique, with signature cuts and searing as the stated focus.
Notably, D’Nulffos says outright that specialty and limited cuts appear from time to time, that availability varies, and that aging methods and durations differ by cut and purveyor — and it tells you to ask your server what is on that night. That is an unusually honest way to describe a beef program, and it is a good sign rather than a bad one.
Prices
D’Nulffos does not publish prices, weights or specific aging durations online, so SteakMap has no verified figures to quote. Call ahead if a particular cut is the reason you are booking.
