Why the Cabin Club made the SteakMap list

The Cabin Club runs a menu structure that has almost disappeared from American steakhouses: every hand-cut steak is offered at two prices — a la carte, or as a Cabin Club Classic with a course in front of it.

The Classic price includes your choice of French onion soup, a caesar, or the Cabin or mixed greens salad. It is roughly a sixteen-dollar step up, which is less than most rooms charge for the salad alone, and it means the menu answers the question of what dinner actually costs rather than leaving you to assemble it.

The cuts

Five hand-cut steaks with weights stated: a 7oz Center Cut filet mignon, a 10oz Thick Cut filet, a 14oz New York strip, a 16oz Delmonico ribeye and a 24oz Bone In Cowboy ribeye. There is also a chef’s cut listed at market.

Alongside them sits a set of composed classics that most steakhouses dropped decades ago — Steak Christopher with filet medallions and sautéed gulf shrimp in béarnaise, a tenderloin stroganoff with buttered noodles and chive crème fraîche, and a bourbon Steak Diane with mushrooms and a bourbon dijon cream. If you have been looking for a Diane done properly, this is one of the few places in Ohio still serving one.

As published on the Cabin Club’s own menu, August 2026, shown a la carte then as a Cabin Club Classic: 24oz Bone In Cowboy ribeye $66 / $82, 16oz Delmonico ribeye $54 / $70, 10oz Thick Cut filet mignon $53 / $69, 14oz New York strip $46 / $62 and the 7oz Center Cut filet $43 / $59.

The Champagne Surf & Turf with filet medallions and lobster tail is $62, and the twin Maine lobster tails $59.
